Spaces & Places; Alexi Natchev's Pages on the Cobblestone.

This recent piece by Bulgarian-born US-based Alexi Natchev captured my attention because the building (or thoughts?) in the man's hat reminded me of York Minster, in the city which I now live on the outskirts of.

It made me wonder about what we attach to different spaces and places; or perhaps, as the motion of the ship on the woman's hat seems to suggest, what we attach to journeys between them.

If you're lucky enough to live near Philly, you can see this piece in person as part of Pages on the Cobblestone at Gallery 309.
